Terms and conditions
These terms govern your access to and use of JobMoto, including the JobMoto app, website, hiring tools, candidate videos, company verification flows, and related services.
Who operates JobMoto
JobMoto is operated by NEXTPHASE INTERACTIVE PRIVATE LIMITED (CIN U63112DL2025PTC457702), with its registered office at 49/18, 3rd Floor, East Patel Nagar, Central Delhi, New Delhi, Delhi 110008, India. The JobMoto name and related marks are owned by NEXTPHASE INTERACTIVE PRIVATE LIMITED.
References to "JobMoto", "we", "us", or "our" mean the operator of the JobMoto service. References to "you" mean a candidate, employer, recruiter, company representative, visitor, or any other user of the service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and capable of entering into a legally binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to use JobMoto. By using the service, you confirm that you meet these requirements. If you use JobMoto on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company to these terms.
Limited permission to use JobMoto
You may use JobMoto only for lawful hiring, job discovery, candidate discovery, communication, verification, and related employment-marketplace purposes in India.
Subject to these terms, JobMoto gives you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your own genuine job-seeking or internal recruitment. No other licence or right is granted.
You are responsible for the information, documents, messages, videos, hiring requirements, and other content you submit through JobMoto.
- Candidates must provide accurate profile, contact, availability, work experience, salary expectation, and intro-video information.
- Employers and recruiters must provide accurate company, job, contact, hiring, GST or Udyam registration, business-card, website, social-media, and verification information where requested.
- You must keep your account access secure, use it only for the person or organisation identified during registration, and promptly tell us if you suspect misuse.
Accounts, authorised users, and access credentials
An account is for the registered person or organisation. Except for the limited company access described below, you may not sell, rent, lend, sublicense, share, pool, or transfer an account, login, verification status, subscription, contact unlock, credit, or access entitlement.
A company may allow only its authorised personnel who are directly involved in that company's recruitment to act through its account. The company is responsible for their activity. Placement agencies, affiliates, clients, other employers, and unrelated teams must use separately authorised access unless JobMoto agrees otherwise in writing.
- Do not disclose OTPs, passwords, tokens, signed links, candidate contact details, or other access credentials to an unauthorised person.
- Do not use shared mailboxes, shared devices, scripts, remote access, or other arrangements to disguise who is using an account or to avoid account, verification, payment, or usage limits.
- Do not create, acquire, coordinate, or rotate multiple accounts, phone numbers, devices, identities, companies, or network addresses to evade a restriction, suspension, verification requirement, contact limit, rate limit, or fee.
Employer and recruiter use of candidate information
Candidate profiles, videos, transcripts, messages, contact details, and matching information may be used only to evaluate or contact that candidate for a specific, genuine employment opportunity represented by the employer or recruiter.
Candidate information is confidential and personal. Access does not transfer ownership of that information and does not permit an employer, recruiter, agency, or other user to build a general resume database, lead list, contact directory, or marketing audience.
- Share candidate information only with authorised members of your internal recruitment or hiring team who need it for the same opportunity and are bound to protect it. Do not pass it to another employer, client, placement agency, data broker, sales team, advertiser, lender, insurer, training provider, or unrelated third party without lawful authority and any required candidate permission.
- Do not use candidate information for advertising, sales, credit, insurance, surveillance, identity enrichment, background screening unrelated to a genuine hiring process, or any purpose unrelated to recruitment.
- Do not copy, record, photograph, screenshot, download, export, print, transcribe, harvest, or collect candidate information in bulk or systematically, whether by software or manual work. Reasonable notes about an individual candidate for a genuine active hiring process are allowed.
- Delete or securely restrict candidate information when it is no longer needed for the genuine hiring purpose, subject to any legal record-keeping duty.
Platform integrity and competitive misuse
You may not access or use JobMoto, including through an otherwise valid account, to obtain competitive intelligence, create a substitute service or database, or exploit JobMoto users, data, or product design for a competing or unrelated commercial purpose.
This restriction targets misuse of JobMoto access. It does not prevent a candidate or employer from using other services, conducting ordinary market research from public information, or engaging in genuine recruitment communications.
- Do not scrape, crawl, spider, index, harvest, mirror, aggregate, cache, republish, resell, license, or make a dataset from profiles, videos, transcripts, contact details, hiring preferences, match results, prices, availability, usage limits, or other JobMoto content or outputs.
- Do not use JobMoto content, user information, rankings, outputs, or access to train, fine-tune, test, validate, benchmark, market, or improve another recruiting service, search product, data product, model, or artificial-intelligence system.
- Do not use non-public access or systematically collected JobMoto data to monitor features, traffic, availability, performance, pricing, ranking, matching, or workflows for competitive benchmarking, reverse engineering, copying, or publication without written permission.
- Do not use JobMoto profiles, messages, or contact access primarily to advertise another job marketplace, resume database, lead-generation service, agency network, paid course, franchise, multi-level marketing scheme, or unrelated product.
- Do not bypass robots instructions, access controls, API restrictions, rate limits, contact unlocks, paywalls, verification gates, security controls, or technical measures, or help anyone else do so.
Our marketplace position
JobMoto is a technology platform for discovery and communication between candidates and employers. JobMoto is not the employer of candidates listed on the service and does not guarantee interviews, offers, joining, salary, attendance, background checks, or employment outcomes.
Hiring decisions, job terms, wages, workplace safety, statutory employment obligations, and candidate screening remain the responsibility of the employer or recruiter using the service.
Prohibited activity
You must not misuse JobMoto or use it in a way that violates Indian law, infringes rights, harms users, or weakens trust in the hiring process.
- Do not post fake jobs, misleading salaries, fraudulent interview requests, impersonated profiles, fake companies, or false verification documents.
- Employers and recruiters must not ask candidates to pay for access to a job, interview, placement, joining letter, mandatory training, equipment, security deposit, background check, or any other hiring step through JobMoto.
- Do not send unsolicited bulk messages, repeated near-identical messages, irrelevant promotions, or recruitment spam, and do not create duplicate or misleading hiring briefs to manipulate visibility or candidate attention.
- Do not upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, sexually explicit, invasive of privacy, discriminatory, harassing, threatening, harmful to children, or otherwise prohibited under applicable law.
- Do not create, upload, solicit, store, share, promote, or distribute child sexual abuse or exploitation material, grooming, trafficking, sexualisation of minors, or any content or conduct that facilitates child abuse. We may preserve and report suspected child sexual abuse or exploitation to the appropriate authorities as required or permitted by law.
- Do not upload deepfakes, impersonations, synthetically generated or altered media, false documents, or AI-generated content that is misleading, non-consensual, unlawful, or presented as authentic when it is not.
- Do not probe, scan, test, overload, disrupt, introduce malicious code into, interfere with, or attempt unauthorised access to JobMoto, its systems, accounts, APIs, storage, or user data.
- Do not use JobMoto to send spam, malware, phishing messages, political manipulation, hate speech, or content that threatens public order, security, or the sovereignty and integrity of India.
- Do not falsely claim that JobMoto endorses, verifies, employs, represents, partners with, or guarantees you, a candidate, an employer, or an opportunity.
Verification, automated checks, and service limits
JobMoto offers tiered verification for employer accounts. Basic onboarding details (such as a business card, website, or Instagram handle) are optional. You may optionally provide a typed GST or Udyam registration number, which we validate and may confirm against official registration data. Enhanced verification requires a short live video recorded in the app at your business premises, in which you say an on-screen challenge phrase and show your workplace or signboard.
Verification numbers and videos may first be checked by automated systems, including AI models, for the challenge phrase, liveness, and consistency with your business details. Automated checks do not make final adverse decisions on their own: submissions that are not clearly approved are routed to human review, and you can see your verification status (approved, reviewing, or rejected with a reason) in the app and re-record or resubmit.
JobMoto does not collect PAN or Aadhaar document images and does not perform Aadhaar authentication or e-KYC through UIDAI.
To protect candidates and keep the marketplace useful, JobMoto may apply usage limits, including daily browsing or contact limits that vary by account type and verification status. Verified businesses may receive higher limits. We may change limits to protect users, prevent abuse, or comply with law.
Submitting forged, altered, borrowed, or misleading verification documents is a material breach of these terms, may result in immediate suspension or termination, forfeiture of credits, and may be reported to authorities where required.
Synthetic media and AI-assisted review
JobMoto uses automated tools, human review, and AI-assisted processing to transcribe candidate videos, extract hiring-match signals, understand employer hiring needs, order matching feeds, assist business verification, detect abuse, support moderation, and improve marketplace relevance. The disclosed third-party AI processing is a required part of JobMoto matching and profile analysis. These tools do not replace employer judgement or final human review of unclear verification outcomes.
Before JobMoto sends personal data to a named third-party AI provider, the app presents a role-specific disclosure and asks for explicit permission. Private-message translation is separate and sends only the message selected by the user after a separate just-in-time choice.
If content is AI-generated, synthetically altered, morphed, or otherwise not an authentic recording of the person or document it claims to show, you must clearly disclose that fact and must not use it to deceive, impersonate, harass, defraud, or violate another person's rights.
Candidate introductions, business-verification media, identity claims, qualifications, and supporting evidence must authentically represent the person, organisation, credentials, and circumstances claimed. Synthetic or materially altered content must not be used to satisfy an identity, liveness, premises, document, qualification, or verification requirement.
Candidate videos and user content
You retain ownership of content you submit, including candidate intro videos, profile details, business documents, and messages. By submitting content, you give JobMoto a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, display, transmit, adapt for formatting, review, moderate, and share that content as needed to provide, secure, improve, and enforce the service.
Candidate profiles and videos may be shown to employers and recruiters on JobMoto. Employer and company information may be shown to candidates and JobMoto reviewers where needed for verification, safety, and communication.
Except for the limited licence above, you may not copy, republish, commercially exploit, or create derivative datasets from another user's content. A candidate contact unlock or public share link does not waive these restrictions.
Detection, moderation, and account action
We may use automated signals and human review to detect scraping, abnormal viewing or contact patterns, account sharing, coordinated accounts, verification abuse, spam, fraud, security threats, and attempts to bypass service limits. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify identity, authority, hiring purpose, or compliance.
We may warn, throttle, restrict, re-verify, reject, remove, preserve, or disclose content or account information; disable features; revoke access, credits, or verification; suspend associated accounts; or terminate access where reasonably needed to operate the service, protect users, investigate abuse, comply with law, respond to lawful orders, or enforce these terms.
We may act without advance notice where delay could expose a person, data, systems, or the service to harm. Where reasonably practicable, you may ask for a review by contacting the legal or grievance address below. We do not promise restoration where risk remains or law prevents it.
A breach involving candidate-data misuse, scraping, account sharing, competitive misuse, circumvention, fraud, or security interference is a material breach. JobMoto may seek deletion or return of improperly obtained data, injunctive or other equitable relief, damages, and any other remedy available under law.
If we reasonably investigate suspected material misuse, you must stop the suspected activity, preserve relevant records, provide information you control that is reasonably needed to verify compliance, and, where legally required, return or securely delete improperly obtained JobMoto or candidate data and confirm completion in writing.
Reports, blocking, and grievances
Use JobMoto's in-app report controls to report a profile, candidate video, user, message, scam, money request, spam, harassment, or other safety concern. Chat participants can also block the other person to stop new messages. For urgent danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement first.
You may also email the designated Grievance Officer at support@jobmoto.app with the subject "JobMoto grievance". Include your name and reply contact, the affected profile, account, message, or other content, a clear description of the issue, and the outcome you request. Include a URL, date, or screenshot if available, but do not send unnecessary passwords, OTPs, identity documents, financial data, or other sensitive information.
We aim to acknowledge a complaint within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days. Complaints subject to a shorter legal deadline, including certain content-removal or intimate-content complaints, will be handled within the applicable deadline. We may ask for information needed to understand the report, verify identity or authority, prevent misuse of the complaint process, and communicate the outcome.
Communications
By using JobMoto, you agree that JobMoto may contact you about your account, verification, uploads, applications, hiring activity, service updates, safety issues, and support through in-app messages, push notifications, email, phone, SMS, WhatsApp, or similar channels where permitted by law and your preferences.
You are responsible for obtaining any consent required before sharing another person's contact information with JobMoto.
Fees, paid features, and refunds
Some JobMoto features may be free and others may be paid. Paid feature terms, pricing, taxes, billing cycles, and refund rules will be shown before purchase or in the relevant order flow.
JobMoto may issue promotional or purchased credits (for example, credits used to unlock candidate contact details). Credits are a limited, non-transferable, revocable licence to use paid features. Credits have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, may carry expiry or monthly-purchase limits shown in the app, and may be forfeited on account termination for breach. Purchases made through app stores are also subject to the relevant store's billing and refund policies.
Unless a separate written policy says otherwise, fees already paid are non-refundable to the extent permitted by applicable law, including any rights you have under Indian consumer-protection law.
Intellectual property
The JobMoto service, software, design, workflows, logos, name, trademarks, trade dress, and related materials are owned by NEXTPHASE INTERACTIVE PRIVATE LIMITED or its licensors. You may not use these materials except as allowed by these terms or with written permission.
To the extent protected by law, JobMoto also owns or licenses the selection, coordination, arrangement, presentation, and operation of the service and its databases, taxonomies, matching systems, non-personal analytics, and compiled outputs. This does not make JobMoto the owner of a user's personal data or original content.
No guarantees
JobMoto is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that job listings, candidate details, salaries, availability, verification signals, communication, videos, or hiring outcomes will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, or error-free.
You should independently verify information before making hiring, employment, payment, travel, or other decisions.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JobMoto will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or loss-of-profit damages, or for disputes between candidates, employers, recruiters, or third parties.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JobMoto's total aggregate liability for all claims arising from or relating to the service will not exceed the greater of INR 1,000 or the fees you paid for JobMoto paid features during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless JobMoto, NEXTPHASE INTERACTIVE PRIVATE LIMITED, and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, damages, penalties, and reasonable legal costs arising from your content, your misuse of the service, your violation of these terms or law, or your infringement of another person's rights.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in New Delhi, India will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer or statutory rights that apply to you.
General
These terms, the Privacy Policy, and any additional terms shown for a particular paid feature form the agreement between you and JobMoto for the service. If a particular paid-feature term conflicts with these terms, that particular term controls only for that feature.
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these terms without our written permission. JobMoto may assign these terms as part of a merger, restructuring, financing, sale of assets, or transfer of the JobMoto business, subject to applicable law.
If a provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. A failure or delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver. Provisions concerning candidate-data restrictions, platform integrity, intellectual property, enforcement, liability, indemnity, disputes, and any obligation that by its nature should continue will survive account closure or termination.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date and document version show when this page changed. We may notify you of material changes and may require renewed acceptance. If renewed acceptance is not required, continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.
